RivahFest 2012

RivahFest Merchant's Market
Saturday, June 16 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Farmers and small businesses are the lifeblood of Tappahannock and Essex County—that’s why RivahFest 2012 has designated special areas for each group to display their produce, products and services.

“Merchants Market will show RivahFest visitors what’s great about our community,” said area chair, Tiffany Bradshaw. “It’s a showcase for local growers, non-profit organizations, businesses and professionals.”

RivahFest 2004 Displays at the market include beautiful gemstones, home decor, handmade items, and much more from many of our local vendors, lawn care ideas from Arbor Care Complete Tree Service; even remodeling ideas for your home, plus vendors selling baked goods, herbs and plants, popcorn, various spices and mixes. Chairman, Tiffany Bradshaw has secured local purveyors of fruits, vegetables, and flowers and plants from Swinsons’ Nursery. She is eager for the community to see what our local farmers and growers have for us this year.

Merchant’s Market has a special section for businesses and non-profits that do not fall into the Arts and Antiques or Farmer’s Market categories. Shoppers will find sunrooms, banking, women’s clothing, “Pampered Chef” kitchenware, broadband Internet and massage therapy services on display. In addition, there will be informational tables from local political parties, “The Haven” Women’s Shelter and Habitat for Humanity.

“Merchant’s Market is an easy and inexpensive way to raise the visibility of your business and generate follow-up calls,” said Tiffany Bradshaw, “It’s particularly suitable for those who offer personal-sales products like cosmetics, and services like real estate or insurance.”

Merchant's Market information and vendor applications are available by calling Libbie Franklin or Sharon James at 804-445-2065 or go to the download page for applications.
