STAGE 1:
The main stage at the Prince Street and Water Lane intersection will feature two top of the line bands from the East Coast music scene, performing for the second time at RivahFest. These bands have a long tradition of high quality performances and the RivahFest Entertainment Committee is proud to bring to the Festival name bands that are popular with the majority of our audience.“Whatever you like to listen to, we’ve got it,” said George Longest. “There’s something for everyone--country, gospel, bluegrass, rock and soul.” This year's lineup represents "the best artists and best musicians we have ever had at Tappahannock RivahFest!" according to Tom Bradshaw, Stage 1 Director and Steering Committe member.

From 3:30 until 7 p.m., the main stage will be rocking and grooving to the sounds of the the famed "Dancing in the Streets" Band of Oz from North Carolina. Band of Oz owners Keith Houston and David Hicks decided to bring a new, youthful sound to the band and Scott Fine /Vocals and Trombone, Tim Morris /Vocals and Trumpet, and Daniel Morris /Saxophone and Vocals joined the Band of Oz to bring a new youth and a BIG new sound to the band.

Back by popular demand as they were such crowd pleasers a few years ago (2007). Fron the Beaches of the Carolina's come the Band Of Oz. These guys have stood the test of time and their stage presence is always entertaing as they play all the classic Beach Music, R&B and all that great old party music everyone loves. They are crowd favorites where ever they go. We have a great group of entertainers this year and we hope you will stop by and give a listen to some great music.

From Noon until 3 p.m. Southern Tide will provide RivahFest entertainment in style. They have been performing continuously for outdoor festivals, receptions, private parties, country club events, charity fund raisers, award banquets, pool parties, class reunions, and just about every kind of event where class and professionalism are desired by clients. "Fun, Professional, Variety, Great Vocals, Great to Work With......

They play a great variety of music from southern rock to country to hip-hop to pop, and have such a great time doing it. They are a great act for our early afternoon that everyone can enjoy!

From 11:00am until noon will kick off with start the RivahFest entertainment with Susan Greenbaum, a singer-songwriter based in Richmond, VA.
