Steering Committee:
Planning for overall event organization and budget. Development of the festival layout and area assignments. Working with Chairmen of all Committees and managing integration of all activities into a cohesive and successful festival. Coordination with County and Town officials regarding event plans, security and promotion of Tappahannock as a destination.

ANTICIPATED DEADLINES

No later than:  
November 30 1st Committee meeting of each Committee should have been held
November 30 All vendor registration forms should be posted on the website
December 15 Festival Layout should be approved by Steering Committee and posted on the website
January 15 Finalized budgets should be submitted to the Steering Committee for approval
February 15 Promotions “Calendar of Events” should be completed and ready to implement
April 15 All vendors should be finalized and participant listing provided to Promotions Committee for event brochure design
June 1 Deadline for Sponsor Advertisement artwork
June 14 Final Chairmen’s meeting
June 16 Set up for Event
June 16 Rivahfest 2012!!
