NOTICE TO ALL FOOD VENDORS The Fire Marshall will be attending RivahFest 2012 to assure there will be no safety violations according to the Fire Code of Virginia. Please note you will need to be in compliance with the following restrictions if you are accepted as a vendor in the event. Non-compliance will result in vendor being dismissed from event without refund: • Food Tents MUST be flame retardant o Certificate is required for New Tents or o FS I-DS Fire Retardant Spray may be applied, but must provide proof of application • All vendors are required to have an ABC extinguisher o Valid Inspection Required (within last 12 months) • Vendors using cooking fluids MUST have a Class K Fire Extinguisher o Valid Inspection Required (within last 12 months) • Propane tanks must be properly secured to prevent tip over • Cooking Tents must be separate from serving tent • Trip hazards must be eliminated (hoses, wires, boxes, crates, electrical cords, etc.) Special Safety Letter to All Food Vendors - please download and review your area. | |||||||||||||||||||

RivahFest 2012 spaces for Tastes of Tappahannock food vendors are available on a first come first served basis so apply as soon as possible and take advantage of a lower booth rent with your application submitted prior to the above deadlines. Space is limited and will fill early! To apply for booth space for 2012, please send an email to Kristen Morris - Manager of the "Tastes of Tappahannock" food area - please mention your variety of food offerings and she will reply with application agreement or other message. All food vendors must meet Virginia Health Dept requirements and will be inspected when they open for business. All vendors are required to have insurance. THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE RAIN OR SHINE. Set up begins at 7 am. Show begins at 10 am. Your booth must be ready for public viewing by 9:30 am on June 16, 2012. Exhibitor must provide tents, tables, chairs, table coverings. Deadline for inclusion on website and in festival program is May 1, 2012. Exhibitor will receive confirmation of acceptance & area placement, refusal, or wait-list status within 30 days. Setup instructions and other pertinent information will be mailed to you before event. Pre-assigned spaces will be provided at check-in. | |||||||||||||||||||
